A very very warm welcome to all !
My name is Daniel, and this blog is one of my new year resolutions! Yes, in 2012, I'm going to start out my online career as an online social prime. In actual truth, I have been blogging for a long time now. However, I never really got serious about it and most of the time I would stop and start. Not this time, this year, things are going to change, dreams are going to be realized, success is going to be celebrated!
A little bit more about myself, I'm a prime adult searching for the value of life! I may not have found it yet but I'm sure I will soon enough. I come from the far east land island known as Singapore and I've been here all my life. Its a pretty awesome country to live in and I've been blessed to be able to have a loving family who have supported me and allowed me to graduate with a Degree in Southeast Asian Studies. After my degree, I've basically been teaching and am still teaching now as a full time tutor.
However, after teaching for a while I've come to the conclusion that life should not just be about earning money and surviving one day at a time. Life should be filled with blessings, dreams, and visions! Only then can you truly find your true self and your true calling. Don't be mistaken, I do enjoy teaching and the empowerment I have to impact the youths of today. Even so, I believe that apart from teaching, a great joy I have is in writing out my thoughts and sharing it with people out there so that you guys out there know that life can be a joy to live!
Basically, I'll be starting 3 sub-blogs for the 3 hobbies I really have a passion in and hope to one day be a professional. Firstly, why the name JoyFu? Well Fu is actually my Chinese surname and a character with a similar pronunciation means 'prosperity' and Joy is what I would like you to feel when your visiting my blog. After a hard days work or study, I do hope this blog can be a source of light-hearteness and joy to you to put a smile on your face!
The 3 sub blogs will be Joyfustories, Joyfulmusic and Joyfulenglish. Joyfustories is where I will write chapters of short stories or movie reviews. Joyfumusic will be filled with the latest songs and recommendations, covers and originals. Lastly, Joyfulenglish will be some ESL lessons thought in Chinese for our friends from China to pick up English!
This blog will be the main blog which promotes new material from the other blogs. In addition, I will be posting my dreams and visions in 2012 and the daily steps and inspirations needed to get there! So all in all, thanks for visiting and I do hope you continue to be a loyal follower for me to put a little Joy in !
